Position Overview:

TRISTAR is in search of a highly skilled Electronics Engineer IV to support our government client in Crane, IN.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive technical evaluations of microelectronics packaging initiatives relevant to the Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) advanced packaging and testing efforts across various government programs.
  • Adapt to diverse roles including leadership, advisory, and support across multiple projects concurrently.

Essential Duties:

  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team of professionals from government, industry, and academia to evaluate technological capabilities, risks, and their potential effects on the Defense Industry Base (DIB).
  • Participate in project status meetings, both in-person and virtually, providing insights to facilitate informed government decision-making.
  • Sign Non-Disclosure Agreements as necessary with government, industry, and academic partners.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the microelectronics sector, focusing on tooling requirements, fabrication methodologies, and packaging architectures.
  • Proficient in semiconductor material chemistry and the mechanical and electrical properties associated with it.
  • Experienced with microelectronic interconnects and architectures.
  • Familiar with reliability testing protocols in microelectronics.
  • Knowledgeable about microelectronics failure modes and analysis techniques.
  • Expertise in advanced packaging processes.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • An Active Secret Clearance is required or the ability to obtain one.

Education and Certification:

  • BS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
