TRISTAR is seeking a Electronics Engineer IV for our government customer in Crane, IN

Position Description:

  • The Electronics Engineer IV shall provide broad technical analysis of any requested microelectronics packaging activities of interest to the Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) advanced packaging and test (APT) efforts across a portfolio of government programs (e.g. RESHAPE, SHIP, STAMP, STEAM PIPE, Project DayWatch, etc.)
  • This may require operating flexibly between leadership, advisory and support roles on multiple projects simultaneously
Position Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team comprised of performers from government, industry and academia to assess technology capabilities, risks, and potential impact to the Defense Industry Base (DIB). The contractor will provide detailed and frequent technical inputs to a range of potential IBAS microelectronics activities and technical interchange meetings (TIM)
  • Attend project status meetings (in-person and virtually) and report findings to enable effective Government decision making
  • As required, the contractor shall sign Non-Disclosure Agreements with respective government, industry and academia partners
Position Requirements:
  • 10 years minimum experience in the microelectronics industry developing tooling requirements, fabrication processes, and package architectures
  • Knowledgeable with semiconductor material chemistry, mechanical and electrical properties
  • Knowledgeable with microelectronic interconnects and architectures
  • Knowledgeable about reliability testing in microelectronics
  • Knowledgeable about microelectronics Failure modes
  • Knowledgeable about microelectronics Failure Analysis Techniques
  • Knowledgeable about Advanced Packaging processes
    Interpersonal Skills:
    - Excellent technical writing
    - Excellent verbal communication
    - Excellent presentation skill
    - Good collaborator
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • An Active Secret Clearance is required or the ability to obtain one
Radar Education and Certification:
  • BS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
