As the Rehabilitation Services Coordinator, you will manage administrative functions and facilitate patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of the therapy department under the guidance of the Therapy Care Navigator. You will represent TMC professionally across the facility, fostering positive relationships with all staff members. Our coordinators play a crucial role in delivering the TMC Experience effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient care under the supervision of licensed therapists, adhering to all relevant regulations.
  • Manage office supplies in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain organized filing systems, including charts and documentation as per organizational standards.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for physician signatures and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of returned documentation for accuracy and compliance, notifying the Therapy Care Navigator as necessary.
  • Ensure all records are accurately maintained and up-to-date through timely filing and documentation processes.
  • Review treatment reports and documentation for accuracy under the supervision of the Therapy Care Navigator.
  • Participate in meetings as directed, taking notes and effectively communicating relevant information back to the team.
  • Complete routine checks and maintenance of treatment and office areas.
  • Promote a positive work environment by adhering to company values and fostering collaborative relationships.
  • Manage scheduling for treatments and staff, ensuring adequate coverage as needed.
  • Review and approve timesheets daily, following company procedures.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including phone management and email distribution.
  • Complete daily documentation tasks as directed by management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Certification as a Nurse Aide or equivalent experience in rehabilitation preferred.
  • Ability to complete company training and assessments successfully.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Commitment to confidentiality.
  • Physical ability to lift and manage 50 pounds.
