As a Rehabilitation Services Coordinator at TMC, you will manage administrative responsibilities and coordinate patient care while facilitating the smooth daily functioning of the therapy department under the guidance of the Therapy Care Navigator. You will serve as a professional representative of TMC throughout the facility, fostering and nurturing positive relationships with all company and facility personnel. Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient care under the direct supervision of licensed therapists, adhering to all applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Order and manage office supplies in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain department filing systems, ensuring all cabinets, charts, and binders are organized as per Facility Organizational Policy.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for physician signatures and track submissions to ensure timely receipt.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of returned documentation to confirm completeness, accuracy, and compliance, notifying the Therapy Care Navigator as necessary.
  • Copy, scan, distribute, and file all documentation in both physical charts and the JBS system within designated timeframes to maintain accurate and current records.
  • Review DARs, treatment grids, and other reports as assigned to ensure accuracy and completion under the supervision of the Therapy Care Navigator.
  • Participate in meetings as directed by the Therapy Care Navigator, taking notes and effectively communicating relevant therapy information back to the team.
  • Complete Tech Check Lists (Daily, Weekly, Monthly), alerting the Therapy Care Navigator of any deficiencies and filing as required.
  • Follow proper procedures to maintain cleanliness in treatment and office areas.
  • Conduct weekly sanitation of all equipment as directed by the Therapy Care Navigator.
  • Represent TMC professionally at all times.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and adhere to company core values.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with all company and facility staff.
  • Manage treatment and staff scheduling, securing PRN coverage as directed by the Therapy Care Navigator.
  • Review and approve timesheets daily under the direction of the Therapy Care Navigator, in line with company policy.
  • Assist with phone inquiries and message taking as needed.
  • Check and distribute emails as necessary, ensuring all staff are informed of company communications.
  • Complete daily DAR and timesheet entries.
  • Fulfill assigned tasks as directed by the Therapy Care Navigator, Area Manager, and/or Regional Director.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • Nurse Aide Certification or equivalent health paraprofessional training and/or one year of experience in the rehabilitation field preferred.
  • Ability to successfully complete company Tech Coordinator training and assessments.
  • Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to TMC Values and Mission Statement.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
  • Aptitude for identifying, communicating, and resolving issues as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Ability to lift and manage 50 pounds.
