Job Title: Event Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to join our team at the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various events to ensure successful outcomes for the organization and its clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tailored sponsorship packages to maximize revenue opportunities;
  • Manage event budgets, including allocating resources and tracking expenses;
  • Implement effective time management strategies to meet event deadlines;
  • Negotiate and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver high-quality events;
  • Upsell event packages and services to maximize revenue opportunities;
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events and drive attendance;
  • Provide excellent guest services and ensure attendee satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, public relations, hospitality, or a related field;
  • Two years or more experience in event planning and coordination;
  • Proven track record of organizing successful events;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel;
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation Package:

  • $24 per hour;
  • Performance-based incentive;
