As the Senior Analyst for Operations and Support, you will oversee and manage intricate analyses for Cash Operations while implementing strategies that enhance service quality. Your role will involve directing various intermediate to large-scale projects within the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago (FRBC) and serving as a key liaison between team members and management in functional areas.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses and forecasts (financial, operational, and statistical) on complex projects, including data compilation, calculations, result interpretation, and report generation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage departmental and Bank project activities to ensure timely completion within budget and with high quality.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases, extracting necessary data from other systems, and create metrics to monitor performance.
  • Track and coordinate the Cash department's strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Prepare briefing materials and presentations for senior management and present findings as required.
  • Support departmental operations, financial processes, and initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze budget performance, manage expenditures, and prepare detailed reports on budget management.
  • Create internal and external communications for stakeholder groups, utilizing innovative technologies to engage diverse audiences.
  • Conduct market research and best practice analyses to develop business cases and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Lead testing and reporting on internal controls to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and organizational policies.
  • Facilitate the definition and documentation of current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to establish metrics and targets for assessing organizational performance.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies; certification is a plus.
  • Experience in specialized business analysis and project evaluation.
  • Proficient in data gathering, analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Strong communication skills with internal stakeholders, including executives.
  • Ability to think independently and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and directed.
  • Knowledge of banking operations is preferred.
  • Ability to learn new technical applications quickly.
  • Strong internet navigation and research capabilities.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities.
