Position: Business Analyst
Location: Remote/Hybrid
Contract Duration: 3+ Months
Employment Type: W2 Contract Engagement

Engagement Overview

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the intake of change requests and developing comprehensive business cases for these requests. The analyst will assist the business team in evaluating the deliverable value of change requests and will oversee the management of these requests through to completion. This includes tracking and reporting on the financial status of the change requests and the overall budget. Additionally, the analyst will manage and track operational issues, including logging, monitoring, and reporting on their statuses, while also documenting meeting notes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy while working with detailed information.
  • Collaborate across departments to support operational teams.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, to perform analysis.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Assist management in evaluating, recommending, and implementing improved workflows and processes.
  • Support the coordination and execution of projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Analyze operational data to identify and resolve business challenges.
  • Maintain and utilize reporting systems; participate in systems testing and develop procedural controls.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on project statuses and issues.
  • Communicate and recommend policy adjustments to meet project goals.
  • Document departmental procedures and create reports to propose business changes.
  • Offer support to internal departments and external entities by providing information and training.
  • Engage in special projects or workgroups as assigned.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in industry-standard PC applications, including Microsoft Office.

Education and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related field is required.
