The Sales Consultant will play a crucial role in enhancing the Pella brand within the construction sector, establishing it as the top choice for window and door solutions. This position involves achieving personal sales targets through a relationship-driven sales approach, providing comprehensive solutions, and demonstrating market knowledge. Building and nurturing relationships with builders, contractors, architects, and trade organizations is essential. The ideal candidate will actively pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and in-person meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet sales objectives by delivering comprehensive solutions and expert market insights.
  • Spend over 50% of time at client locations to foster account growth through planned meetings and prospecting.
  • Develop lasting partnerships with builders, contractors, architects, and trade organizations using a consultative sales methodology.
  • Collaborate with clients to recommend suitable products and solutions that contribute to their business success.
  • Utilize Pella's quoting and CRM systems to prepare proposals and manage client relationships.
  • Leverage internal resources to enhance quoting activities.
  • Aim for 100% satisfaction among business partners.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or 1-2 years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred experience in B2B sales.
  • Ideal candidates should reside within the designated territory.
  • Compliance with company motor vehicle record requirements is necessary.
