Job Title: Production Supervisor

At GB Packaging, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient production of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the converting department, ensuring that employees work safely and follow all plant rules and policies.
  • Maintain quality, efficiencies, and production levels set by management, communicating these standards to employees.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and assist with problem-solving activities, assessing the performance and training of converting personnel.
  • Provide training, development, and feedback for employees, establishing high morale in the area of responsibility by showing fairness and consistency.
  • Maintain inventories of sheets, inks, and other converting supplies, overseeing quality checks, and conducting production/safety/quality meetings with departmental personnel.
  • Monitor and maintain housekeeping throughout the plant, performing additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive change.
  • Ability to solve process and production issues independently, with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • 1-3 years of demonstrated leadership experience required, with 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment and 5 years of corrugated experience preferred.
