About the Role

Aegion is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Engineer to join our team. As a Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in the rehabilitation of pipeline systems, providing cost-effective solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Provide project support for production, safety, quality, and project management standards.
  • Operational Support: Offer operational support for the entire project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, cost management, and closeout.
  • Cost Management: Work with field crews and subcontractors to track and manage project costs, meet expected production rates, and gross profit margins.
  • Customer Communication: Attend pre-bid, pre-construction, and project status meetings with our customers.
  • Documentation: Prepare, submit, and track Submittals and RFI's.
  • Schedule Management: Update schedules to reflect production actual quantities.
  • Material Management: Video review and measurements for material ordering.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or 5+ years of field construction experience.
  • Attitude and Eagerness: Good attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in water/sewer or municipal environment is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Solid understanding of Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel, Primavera, and JD Edwards software experience a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills.
  • Travel: Must be able to travel as needed (approximately 25%).
