• Conduct all procurement activities ethically, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with various departments to identify the most appropriate products or services that align with the company's goals.
• Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery and address any issues that may arise.
• Resolve discrepancies and negotiate terms to secure the best long-term outcomes for the organization.
• Assist in supporting new business proposals as directed by the Supply Chain Manager.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, gaining insights into their processes.
• Analyze demand signals from MRP systems to ensure clarity and completeness, obtaining any necessary information.
• Execute purchase orders within the ERP system to maintain proper alignment with MRP.
• Manage inventory levels and fulfill orders for shipping materials.
• Identify optimal sourcing options.
• Evaluate and analyze bids in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Prepare and verify purchase orders or agreements for accuracy before issuance.
• Review acknowledgments to ensure alignment with purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies favorably.
• Expedite orders as necessary to meet project timelines.
• Keep the VP of Operations updated on all relevant activities and issues, providing reports as required.
Qualifications:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience with ERP and MRP systems.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing.
