Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at The Hospital of Central Connecticut. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in an acute care setting, positioning patients and operating diagnostic x-ray equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Utilize assessment of patient age and diagnosis to produce accurate images, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, self, and others.
  • Accurately input procedural information into electronic medical records, RIS, and PACS to capture necessary information regarding exams, supply charges, and radiation exposure.
  • Obtain relevant patient information, including current lab values and medication usage, to perform the appropriate exam and procure an accurate diagnosis.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
  • State of Connecticut Radiographer license.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
