Senior Enterprise Solutions Consultant

The Senior Enterprise Solutions Consultant serves as a technology generalist, collaborating with larger clients and participating in in-person discussions. This role is essential in identifying and nurturing opportunities by fostering robust relationships with customers alongside our sales teams.
This individual will provide expert consultation on data centers, edge computing, core infrastructure, cloud solutions, security measures, collaboration tools, and associated services, while comprehending how these technologies drive business success.
This remote position requires residency in a major metropolitan area in the Southeast U.S. to meet business requirements as determined by SHI management.About SHI GmbH

Key Responsibilities:
Includes but is not limited to:
Engage and collaborate with clients to ensure account retention and explore multiple sales avenues for Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, Collaboration, and Services within existing accounts.
Gain a thorough understanding of the company's service offerings across all solution practice areas by participating in company training and enhancing knowledge through self-directed learning.
Work collaboratively with various levels of contacts within organizations, including but not limited to sales teams, CIOs, IT Directors, CTOs, and Application Managers.
Establish relationships with the local technology community (Manufacturers and System Integrators) and relevant customer technical personnel to build market credibility and ensure the sales team is attuned to the customer's ongoing needs.
Educate and train sales teams on technical selling, product knowledge, services, and technology trends through office hours, formal training sessions, and relationship-building activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of experience in complex Data Center sales environments.
5+ years of pre-sales experience.
5+ years of expertise in Converged Infrastructure, Disaster Recovery, and Virtualization technologies.
5+ years of demonstrated proficiency in mainstream technologies such as Dell/EMC, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Palo Alto, Pure Storage, Azure, and AWS.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of prior IT Management/Director experience.
Experience supporting State and Local Government and Higher Education sectors.
Familiarity with Public and Private Cloud Solutions.
Required Skills:
In-depth technical knowledge of storage and server systems.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
Meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-up capabilities.
Proactive approach to researching and resolving issues with a positive mindset.
Outstanding relationship-building skills.
Strong documentation capabilities, including system/network diagrams and presentations.
Unique Requirements:
Willingness to travel to client locations as required.
Flexibility to work extended hours to complete special projects.
Additional Information:
The estimated annual compensation for this position ranges from $120,000 to $260,000, inclusive of base salary and bonuses.
The compensation for this role is contingent upon job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location, thus varying from individual to individual.
