Position Overview:

The Solutions Architect is tasked with overseeing all facets of the solution, collaborating closely with the IFS ERP implementation team, and leveraging their industry knowledge and implementation experience to guide the customer project team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and sustain an integration architecture blueprint for the organization.
  • Coordinate integration initiatives and corresponding strategies among business units and development teams.
  • Formulate an application rationalization strategy and develop a consolidation roadmap.
  • Plan, execute, and manage the integration of new applications into existing systems across the enterprise.
  • Plan, execute, and manage the integration of new application technologies into the current environment.
  • Ensure integration projects align with business requirements and objectives, fulfill end-user needs, and address system issues.
  • Align integration planning and practices with strategic business goals and the overall vision of the company.
  • Establish standards and processes to support and facilitate integration projects and initiatives.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • 10 to 15 years of direct experience with enterprise-level applications.
  • Proven track record in developing enterprise and solution-level architectural designs.
  • Demonstrated experience in linking cross-functional applications across diverse business units and systems.
  • Proficient in business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling, methodology development, and data mapping.
  • Extensive experience with core software applications, including SAP, other ERP systems, MS Dynamics, and RPA technologies.
  • Strong foundation in risk management methodologies related to integration and software engineering.
  • Knowledgeable in relational database design and management techniques.
  • Good project management skills and familiarity with project-based work structures and lifecycle models.
  • Strong understanding of system and software quality assurance best practices.
  • Competent in XML constructs and schemas.
  • Experienced with API protocols and schemas such as SOAP and REST.
  • Familiarity with network protocols and standards.
  • Deep understanding of end-user needs and requirements.
  • Expertise in at least one of the core IFS industries (CRM, Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Manufacturing).
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and deliver effective solutions.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, decentralized, and culturally diverse environment.
  • Initiative and a proactive approach.
  • Experience with IFS Implementation and Upgrade (IFS9, IFS10, IFS Cloud).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree, a professional qualification, or equivalent experience.
