Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Services Officer to join our team at HIAS Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing loan portfolios, analyzing delinquent accounts, and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze delinquent or canceled accounts to determine if an extension of the grace period is needed and request approval from supervisor.
  • Research and analyze customer accounts to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Follow up with clients via phone and email to obtain payments on past due balances.
  • Assist in completing special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Possess an exceptional professional, courteous demeanor in a sometimes fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Computer-literate, experience in network environment, internet, and e-mail transfer of data, proficient in office applications (Excel and Word).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent time management/organizational skills.
  • Spanish fluency preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality results in a timely manner.
