Job Title: Cardiac Device Specialist

About the Role

The Cardiac Device Specialist will provide thorough interrogations and reprogramming of cardiac devices implanted in patients, including pacemakers, implantable loop recorders, and implantable cardiac defibrillators. This role involves enrolling patients in device management systems, conducting interrogations in outpatient settings, and remotely monitoring patients. The specialist will also triage patients for remote alert notifications, perform telephone triage for cardiac patients, and assist cardiologists in managing device recalls and alerts.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough interrogations and reprogramming of cardiac devices
  • Enroll patients in device management systems
  • Conduct interrogations in outpatient settings and remotely monitor patients
  • Triage patients for remote alert notifications
  • Perform telephone triage for cardiac patients
  • Assist cardiologists in managing device recalls and alerts
Requirements
  • Nursing degree
  • 1 year of experience in telemetry, general cardiology, or critical care
  • ECG and arrhythmia/dysrhythmia knowledge
  • Effective communication and critical thinking skills
