Job Title: Device Registered Nurse - Boise Heart Clinic

St. Luke's Health System is seeking a skilled Device Registered Nurse to join our team at the Boise Heart Clinic. As a key member of our cardiovascular care team, you will be responsible for providing expert care and management of cardiac devices, including pacemakers, implantable loop recorders, and implantable cardiac defibrillators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough interrogations and reprogramming of cardiac devices
  • Enroll patients in device management systems and conduct device interrogations in outpatient settings and remotely
  • Triage patients for remote alert notifications and perform telephone triage for cardiac patients and device question phone calls
  • Assist cardiologists in managing device recalls and alerts, and liaison with cardiac device company representatives
  • Accurately identify malfunctions, alerts, and sub-optimal device operations and follow appropriate protocols
Requirements:
  • Nursing degree and current RN licensure from the State of Practice
  • 1 year of experience in telemetry, general cardiology, or critical care
  • ECG, arrhythmia/dysrhythmia knowledge and effective communication skills
