Job Summary:

This position plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective B2B customers. As an Inside Sales Account Manager at Ken Garff, you will work collaboratively with the outside sales team and sales manager to expand existing customer bases and actively pursue new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound calls to assist current and prospective B2B customers with their purchasing needs.
  • Initiate outbound calls to current and prospective B2B accounts to inform them of new products, promotions, and purchasing opportunities.
  • Support the outside sales team in growing revenue within assigned customer allocations.
  • Provide product information and solutions to customers based on their needs and product capabilities.
  • Open customer accounts by accurately recording information and obtaining necessary documents for verification.
  • Process orders from current and prospective customers via phone or dealer portal entries.
  • Monitor order status and communicate with customers regarding changes in order fill rates, backorders, ship dates, and payables.
  • Answer customer inquiries about products, prices, availability, and credit terms.
  • Manage all aspects of order entry, invoicing, and acknowledgments to customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and ensure easy access for teammates.
  • Provide exceptional service level in all verbal and written communications with customers.
  • Meet or exceed customer expectations regarding delivery, quality, and service.
  • Develop a working knowledge of Ken Garff's products, services, and logistics capabilities.
  • Become proficient in Ken Garff's operating system and CRM to perform daily work functions and customer success monitoring.
  • Maintain open communication with sales teammates to resolve issues and find solutions.
  • Work with customers to resolve RMA, billing, shipping, and credit issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and 5 years of account management/B2B sales experience (Automotive Aftermarket experience preferred).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM and operating systems.

Compensation:

  • Salary + Commission + Spiffs/Bonuses
  • Base salary/hourly: $41k - $52k (based on relevant experience).
  • %1.0 of Landed Gross Profit for individually assigned customers.
  • %0.25 of Ken Garff's total B2B sales.
  • Periodic internal spiffs, vendor promotions, and contests.
