We are a premier accounting firm dedicated to serving high-profile musicians and professional athletes. We are currently seeking a talented Senior Bookkeeper or Staff Accountant to enhance our dynamic team.
If you have a passion for music and possess over 5 years of bookkeeping experience in a CPA environment, along with a relevant degree, this position could be your next career move.
This hybrid role allows for 2 days of remote work and 3 days in the office, promoting a healthy work-life balance, especially during peak seasons.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience managing high net worth clients, preferably within the entertainment sector.
While familiarity with Agilink is a plus, it is not mandatory. A strong background in client bookkeeping and proficiency in QuickBooks from another CPA firm is essential.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant to join our Finance team in the Music and Entertainment sector. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about the industry and have a solid accounting background. You will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing budgets for multiple clients, and engaging in financial forecasting and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct general bookkeeping tasks, including data entry into accounting software and regular account reconciliations.
- Manage timely payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Regularly reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare documentation for audits.
- Contribute to the development of annual budgets and ongoing forecasts.
- Follow organizational policies and procedures.
- Utilize Agilink software effectively to enhance accounting processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong skills in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger Reconciliations, and bookkeeping.
- Experience in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Familiarity with month-end closing and budgeting practices.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
