We are a premier accounting firm dedicated to serving high-profile musicians and professional athletes. We are currently seeking a talented Senior Bookkeeper or Staff Accountant to enhance our expanding team.

If you have a passion for music and possess over 5 years of bookkeeping experience within a CPA firm, along with a relevant degree, this position is tailored for you.

This hybrid role allows for 2 days of remote work and 3 days in the office, promoting a healthy work-life balance, especially during peak seasons.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience working with high net worth clients, especially in the entertainment sector.

While familiarity with Agilink or a music-focused CPA firm is preferred, it is not mandatory. A strong background in client bookkeeping and proficiency in QuickBooks from another CPA firm is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute general bookkeeping tasks, including data entry into accounting software and regular account reconciliations.
  • Manage payment obligations as they arise, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Regularly reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and comprehensive reports.
  • Facilitate month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare documentation for audits.
  • Support the development of the annual budget and ongoing forecasting.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Utilize Agilink software to enhance accounting efficiency.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Expertise in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger Reconciliations, and bookkeeping.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and reports.
  • Familiarity with month-end closing and budgeting processes.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • A passion for the music and entertainment industry is advantageous.
