Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Retail Manager to join our team at Sur La Table. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a high-performing team of retail professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, ensuring a seamless shopping experience across all touchpoints.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a team of retail professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
  • Sales Growth: Develop and execute plans to drive sales growth, including analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to increase revenue.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Visual Merchandising: Oversee the visual presentation of the store, including creating visually appealing displays and ensuring a consistent brand image.
  • Loss Prevention: Develop and implement strategies to prevent loss, including monitoring sales floor activity and investigating any incidents of theft or shrinkage.
Requirements
  • 3-5 Years of Retail Management Experience: Proven track record of success in a retail management role, with experience in leading teams, driving sales growth, and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, coach, and develop a team of retail professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees, and management.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management Skills: Experience in managing inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Visual Merchandising Skills: Ability to create visually appealing displays and ensure a consistent brand image.
