We are looking for a skilled and experienced Construction Financial Analyst to oversee financial operations within our projects. This role presents a unique chance to influence the financial success of our initiatives. The selected candidate will handle all financial components of our construction projects, including budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations of construction projects, including budgeting, cost management, and financial reporting.
- Utilize AIA Billing and project accounting methods to track costs and revenues.
- Conduct account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Implement cost control strategies to ensure projects remain within budget.
- Employ forecasting techniques to predict future project costs and revenues.
- Utilize software such as Timberline and Sage 300 for effective financial management.
- Prepare and present financial statements and reports to management.
- Collaborate with project managers to achieve financial goals.
- Identify and address financial risks associated with projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry financial regulations and standards.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in project accounting, preferably within the construction industry.
- Expertise in AIA Billing and project accounting.
- Strong understanding of budgeting and cost management principles.
- Experience in account reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of cost control and forecasting methodologies.
- Familiarity with Timberline, Sage 300, or similar accounting tools.
- Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. CPA or CMA certification is advantageous.
