Role Summary
The selected candidate will be based in the greater Atlanta area and will be responsible for managing sales across a designated territory, which may require occasional overnight travel. This position focuses on promoting our key products, including Remodulin and Orenitram, while establishing strong educational relationships with healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and educate on our pharmaceutical products within assigned territories, adhering to corporate guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and specialty distributors.
  • Analyze sales data to create and implement strategic business plans aimed at achieving sales targets.
  • Collaborate with field-based teams to optimize sales efforts and enhance educational outreach.
  • Utilize available resources effectively to drive sales initiatives with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the disease landscape, product offerings, and competitive environment.
  • Leverage sales force automation tools for effective territory management and record-keeping.
  • Complete administrative tasks promptly, including expense reporting and compliance documentation.
  • Participate in medical conferences and symposia to support education and promotion efforts.
  • Engage with patient support groups to stay informed about community needs and treatment trends.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably life sciences.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biologic sales, particularly to specialty healthcare providers.
  • At least 2 years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical or biotech sales.
  • Experience selling within institutional or major teaching hospitals is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
  • Expertise in cardiovascular and/or pulmonary disease therapeutic areas.
  • Proven track record of successful sales performance and strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions and effectively plan and interact with others.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
