Job Overview

We are seeking a high-energy Product Specialist to sell our home décor products and provide solutions to customers through Surya's buyer-seller process. The successful candidate will focus on larger size Design and Retail customers within the Inside Sales Department and will be required to travel to Markets for one-week intervals on a quarterly basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and strengthen relationships with customers in your assigned book by helping them uncover and solve deeper challenges within their business through Surya's comprehensive solutions.
  • Collaborate with Surya departments to produce the best outcome for customers and the company.
  • Be the organizer of the process of growing revenue and maintaining customer loyalty, especially with key accounts.
  • Strive to be the one who sees ways to increase value that can be delivered to customers, often in new and creative ways.
  • Take charge of driving business within your assigned book by owning and executing Surya's buyer-seller process with precision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of account management/sales experience, preferably delivered through a formalized buyer-seller process, or transferable experience in the field of Design or Retail
  • History of successful relationship-building, strategic dialog, and presenting comprehensive solutions to customers
  • Ability to maintain stated Key Performance Indicator levels specific to the PS-II role
  • Passionate about home décor brands
  • Proficient in MS Office suite; experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Attend quarterly Markets
  • This position is full-time, in-office (M-F)
