Essential Skills:

  • Develop and sustain software applications for our clientele
    • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript), covering web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
    • Manage the complete application lifecycle (concept, design, testing, deployment, support) while striving for continuous enhancements and efficiencies.
    • Monitor application performance to ensure optimal functionality.
    • Identify and implement solutions to security vulnerabilities, including viruses, errors, and exploits.
  • Experience in full stack development.
  • Familiarity with Git-based version control and pull requests for feature-driven development.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Python.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in application design and implementation concepts, components, and workflows using React, Angular, or similar web application frameworks
    • Understanding of RESTful APIs.
    • Knowledge of responsive design principles.
    • Awareness of scalable design methodologies.
    • Solid grasp of security protocols.
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure applications meet organizational objectives and customer requirements.
  • Stay updated on technology trends to maintain the innovativeness of our software.
  • Work alongside the product team to strategize new features, gather requirements, and propose solutions.
  • Establish and adhere to standards and best practices
    • Continuously enhance software delivery processes and methodologies.
    • Encourage the adoption of web application standards.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and creative thinking.
  • Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
  • Candidates must successfully pass a drug test and background screening.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in application development.
  • A strong understanding and appreciation for Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with data persistence and storage technologies
    • Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
    • No-SQL and non-relational databases.
    • A broader range of experience is advantageous.
  • 2+ years of experience in Java.
  • 2+ years of experience in .NET.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and experience in collaborative development.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks efficiently within budgetary constraints
    • Excellent time management capabilities.
    • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies while demonstrating initiative, flexibility, and innovative thinking.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in project management.
