Key Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site consulting and support to medical professionals and operating room teams, optimizing the efficiency and application of Image Guided Surgery (IGS) products during surgical procedures.
• Analyze and troubleshoot product-related issues utilizing engineering expertise to ensure seamless operation.
• Guide Radiology personnel in executing necessary scans prior to surgical interventions.
• Conduct educational sessions for physicians and hospital staff, covering the effective use of IGS products and services.
• Develop and implement training programs for hospital staff to facilitate in-house education.
• Serve as the primary liaison for customers, maintaining communication to assess satisfaction and usage, while identifying opportunities for revenue growth through spare parts and upgrades.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Application Consultant, Area Account Manager, Key Account Manager, and Marketing Manager on market insights, upgrade initiatives, and research and development projects.
• Leverage engineering knowledge to recommend enhancements to product quality.
• Attend industry meetings and trade shows to showcase and promote IGS products and services.
• Stay informed about advancements in Brainlab offerings and competitive IGS solutions through continuous training and research.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Travel Requirements: Expect to travel over 50% of the time during the initial months of employment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, or Nursing is required.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably within the healthcare sector.
• Sales experience in a healthcare context is preferred, with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with surgical procedures, anatomy, and medical terminology is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other PC software applications is essential.
• A self-motivated individual with a keen attention to detail and a proven ability to make independent decisions.
