We are inviting applications for the role of IT Application Engineer- Oracle EBS for a hybrid position in Dayton, Ohio. The role primarily involves the end-to-end development of software programs and applications, which includes research, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.


Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements and adhere to high-quality standards

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers to align application engineering and solutions with business goals

• Assist in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications

• Utilize analytical skills to dissect business needs and formulate comprehensive technical specifications

• Design and architect solutions focusing on availability, scalability, and global reach

• Estimate and plan the required effort for projects

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance where necessary

• Manage and/or provide guidance to other software engineers and support analysts

• Foster the application of Agile/SCRUM and/or iterative development

• Develop solutions using SQL/ PLSQL, Oracle Reports, Bi Publisher, OAF.

• Apply knowledge of Oracle EBS, Oracle EBS Financials, Oracle EBS Modules, Oracle SQL, Agile workflows, Core Java, Java, and Python

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry

• Demonstrable proficiency in Oracle EBS, Oracle EBS Financials, and Oracle EBS Modules

• Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL is essential for this role

• Familiarity with Agile workflows is required

• Proficiency in Core Java, Java, and Python programming languages is a must

• A proven track record of developing and implementing IT solutions in a manufacturing environment

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

• Demonstrable experience in project management and application development methodologies.
