Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the connection between your current role and the organization's business and commercial goals. Develop a foundational knowledge of the competitive landscape and contribute to the commercial rationale for various product and service offerings.
  • Conduct research on potential leads and gather additional insights on clients or the requirements of customer organizations. Identify commercial opportunities through industry publications, online research, and analysts' reports.
  • Act as a trusted partner for MMS, recognizing the importance of building a network of contacts within targeted potential customer organizations.
  • Establish effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Gain proficiency in:
    • Identifying contacts/leads that align with client profiles as defined by your Line Manager or Mentor.
    • Effectively managing priorities with guidance from a Line Manager.
    • Organizing and maintaining records related to contacts, leads, meetings, follow-up tasks, and client/campaign-specific deliverables efficiently.
  • Focus on generating diverse leads and exploring business opportunities in new markets, including substantial initial outreach.
  • Under the mentorship of a senior team member, develop, present, and implement innovative strategies for qualifying new business.
  • Represent yourself and the company professionally, in alignment with core company values.
  • Exhibit excellent internal and external customer service, communication, and teamwork.
  • Support departmental and organizational objectives and improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and training requirements.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by your Line Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in direct sales, business development, or a similar domain.
  • Familiarity with scientific principles or concepts is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Hands-on experience with clinical trials and pharmaceutical development is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to understand needs and resolve issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of CROs, scientific and clinical data/terminology, and the drug development process.
  • Willingness to become proficient with Sales Applications: Dynamics 365 CRM, Zymewire, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other relevant sales tools.
