Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join our prestigious law firm. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex commercial real estate transactions, with a strong focus on large loan financing and expertise in title and survey work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, with a particular emphasis on large loan financing, including drafting and negotiating loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, and other related contracts.
  • Conduct comprehensive title examinations and survey analyses to identify potential issues or risks related to real estate properties.
  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients based on findings.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their goals and objectives, providing strategic and business-oriented legal advice to support their commercial real estate endeavors.
  • Oversee and manage the entire life cycle of real estate transactions, from the initial negotiation phase to closing, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends pertaining to commercial real estate financing and title and survey matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to provide innovative solutions to complex legal issues.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior associates and support staff, contributing to their professional development and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Collaborate with other practice groups within the firm, such as finance, tax, and corporate, to provide comprehensive legal services to clients with diverse needs.
  • Actively participate in business development activities, including client presentations, networking events, and industry conferences to expand the firm's client base and cultivate lasting relationships.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a primary focus on large loan financing and title and survey work.
  • Proven experience in managing complex real estate transactions and providing innovative solutions to legal challenges.
  • Strong understanding of real estate financing mechanisms, including debt and equity structures.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and exceeding client expectations.
  • Client-focused approach and ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
