Job Title: Juvenile Justice Relief Worker

Marion County, OR is seeking a Juvenile Justice Relief Worker to provide support to our juvenile programs. As a Relief Worker, you will work with youth in various settings, including community service, vocational training, and alternative programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to youth in community service, vocational training, and alternative programs
  • Work with youth to develop skills and knowledge in areas such as wood cutting, landscaping, gardening, and vocational training
  • Assist with daily operations, including preparing paperwork, supervising youth, and maintaining order and respect for authority
  • Work with youth to develop effective working relationships with other agencies, co-workers, and the public
Requirements:
  • Two (2) years of college coursework or two (2) years of experience working with youth
  • Ability to communicate effectively with youth, co-workers, and supervisory staff
  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in areas exposed to noise
