Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Group Worker 2 to join our team at Marion County, OR. As a key member of our juvenile services team, you will play a vital role in providing direct supervision, accountability, and support to emotionally and behaviorally challenging juveniles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide active supervision of juveniles in a safe and secure environment.
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans to promote positive behavior and skill development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as human services, juvenile justice, or psychology.
  • At least two years of experience working with juveniles, preferably in a detention or group-home setting.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience working with at-risk youth or in a similar setting.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and principles.
