Construction Management Internship Opportunity

Loureiro Building Construction LLC. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Management Intern to join our team in Portsmouth, NH. As a Construction Management Intern, you will assist our experienced professionals in all aspects of construction projects, including start-up, scheduling, submittals, quality control, project safety, cost control, and project delivery.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting Estimators, Project Managers, and Field Superintendents with project planning, scheduling, and coordination
- Performing quantity take-offs, soliciting quotes, and reviewing subcontractor/material supplier quotes/subcontracts/PO's
- Preparing project-specific health and safety documents and assisting with coordination of self-performed work
- Attending job meetings and assisting with various reports, work plans, schedules, and budgets
- Creating, setting up, and maintaining project filing systems
Requirements for the position include:
- Junior or Senior attending College or University studying Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Experience in site/concrete/remediation/building construction project and/or civil engineering experience is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and leadership abilities
- Flexible, well-organized, detail-oriented, and multi-tasking skills
