Tennis Court Maintenance Supervisor

At Congressional Country Club, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tennis Court Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of our world-class tennis facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs for all tennis court surfaces, including daily, weekly, and annual maintenance schedules.
  • Support, train, and supervise the tennis court maintenance team, ensuring a high level of performance and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Tennis to schedule maintenance activities around club events, tournaments, and member play to minimize disruption.
  • Manage the budget for tennis court maintenance, including procurement of materials and equipment, and negotiating contracts with vendors.
  • Oversee the installation of new courts or the renovation of existing courts, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Stay informed of the latest innovations and best practices in tennis court maintenance and surface technology.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with environmental regulations and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tennis court maintenance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive knowledge of all types of tennis court surfaces, including clay, grass, and hard courts.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, budget management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by tournament schedules and maintenance needs.
  • A passion for tennis and providing the best possible playing conditions for members and guests.
