About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team at CoreSite. As a Data Center Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational integrity, security, and regulatory compliance of our data centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Integrity: Assist in maintaining the operational integrity of the data center, including facilities and telecommunication infrastructure.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and regulatory compliance of the data center, including fire life safety systems and data center operating procedures.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on data center equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, and telecommunications systems.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external customers, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including facilities, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of data center operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in data center operations, maintenance, and repair; experience with mechanical, electrical, and telecommunications systems preferred.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of data center equipment and systems; excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
