Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage both front and back office tasks effectively.
  • Handle incoming phone communications professionally.
  • Prepare patients for examinations while ensuring the confidentiality of medical records, with a solid understanding of diagnostic and procedural coding.
  • Verify insurance details and facilitate referrals.
  • Perform laboratory draws, assist with basic office procedures, administer injections, and prepare patient charts.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy workplace by adhering to safety and legal standards.
  • Maintain equipment functionality, keep supplies stocked for patient use, and confirm receipt of orders.
  • Engage in ongoing educational opportunities and pursue new knowledge.
  • Create and manage spreadsheets, presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Foster a patient-centered approach with a compassionate demeanor.
  • Order necessary office supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in drawing blood and administering injections is essential.
  • Experience in preparing patients for examinations is required.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic and procedural coding is necessary.
  • Attention to detail and dedication to quality work are crucial.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to create efficient systems are important.
  • Familiarity with computer applications, including Excel, Google Docs, PowerPoint, and social media marketing, is preferred.
