Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and commission new control loops tailored to site specifications.
  • Upgrade and modify control software for Mark V, Mark VI, and Mark VIe systems.
  • Develop control software in accordance with established standards and contractual obligations, ensuring all software is validated by a technical leader.
  • Review control philosophies, P&ID diagrams, instrument lists, and flow charts.
  • Identify and report discrepancies between P&IDs, signal lists, and other relevant documentation prior to software deployment.
  • Configure data links and conduct Cimplicity screen configuration and testing.
  • Perform Software Acceptance Testing (SWAT) and modify control software for Power Generation projects, including Steam Turbines and HRSG.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and specifications, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Develop, test, and validate application code and methodologies driven by failure modes.
  • Provide startup and remote commissioning support, collaborating with experts to resolve issues.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of TOOLBOX ST and CIMPLICITY for Steam Turbine and Plant Controls.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in developing control logic using ladder logic, statement lists, and block logic diagrams, with expertise in PLC/DCS Engineering.
  • Experience with MKVIe and ToolboxST.
  • Strong project management, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Able to navigate global, matrixed organizations and make informed decisions based on data.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment while prioritizing effectively.
  • Self-motivated individual who can handle diverse assignments.
