Job Title: Associate Scientist

Job Summary:

Sound Biologics is seeking a highly motivated Associate Scientist to join our dynamic Biology team. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with experienced scientists to pioneer new technologies and platforms for advancing therapeutic antibodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, analyze, and document a range of in vitro, in vivo, and ex vivo cellular assays to contribute to the discovery, validation, and development of Sound Biologic's portfolio of therapeutics.
  • Develop and implement high-order flow-cytometry experiments to understand mechanism of action and demonstrate proof of concept for antibody therapeutics.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across functional groups to achieve project goals and deadlines.
  • Analyze and interpret data, presenting findings clearly and effectively.
  • Prepare written reports and give oral presentations on research projects.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in immunology, cell biology, pharmacology, neuroscience, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant industrial experience or equivalent.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo experiments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and prioritize workflow on multiple projects.
