Our pipeline features discovery-stage ADCs, alongside AL102, a gamma secretase inhibitor currently in a Phase 3 trial for desmoid tumors, as well as IM-1021, a ROR1 ADC, and IM-3050, a FAP-targeted radioligand, both of which are set to have INDs submitted soon.

Position Overview

As a Research Scientist II/Senior Research Scientist specializing in biology, you will be instrumental in propelling our drug development initiatives. Your role will involve designing and conducting a variety of in vitro experiments, analyzing results, and providing critical insights to support Immunome's pre-IND programs.

Key Responsibilities

Research Design and Execution:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strategize and plan experiments that advance drug development projects.
  • Independently perform laboratory experiments, adhering to established protocols and maintaining the highest standards of scientific integrity.
  • Develop novel methods for assessing lead candidate molecules.
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
  • Conduct independent analysis of experimental data and summarize findings in tables or graphs.
  • Interpret results and derive significant conclusions to guide decision-making on pre-IND pipeline initiatives.
Project Collaboration:
  • Engage with colleagues from various scientific disciplines, including chemistry, pharmacology, and translational medicine to meet project objectives.
  • Contribute to project team meetings, offering expertise and insights to propel projects forward.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive and precise electronic laboratory notebooks detailing experimental procedures, results, and conclusions.
  • Prepare and present research findings to internal teams and contribute to project updates.
Continuous Learning and Development:
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in techniques for evaluating targeted therapeutics.
  • Actively seek opportunities for professional growth and contribute to the scientific advancement of the research team.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in biology, cell biology, cancer biology, immunology, or a related field.

Professional Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience (or 6+ years with a Master's degree) in research organizations, CROs, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries focused on drug development.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proficiency in cell culture and cell-based techniques, including flow cytometry, stable cell line generation, internalization assays, and cytotoxicity assays.
  • Experience with ELISA and gene expression analyses using RT-qPCR is advantageous. Familiarity with automation (liquid handler) is a plus.
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate complex scientific data effectively.
  • Capability to collaborate efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
