Our pipeline features a range of discovery-stage ADCs, alongside AL102, a gamma secretase inhibitor currently undergoing a Phase 3 trial for desmoid tumors, as well as IM-1021, a ROR1 ADC, and IM-3050, a FAP-targeted radioligand, both of which are anticipated to have IND submissions in the near future.

Position Overview

As a Research Scientist II/Senior Research Scientist specializing in biology, you will be instrumental in propelling our drug development initiatives. Your role will involve designing and conducting a variety of in vitro experiments, analyzing data, and providing critical insights to support Immunome's pre-IND programs.

Key Responsibilities

Research Design and Execution:
  • Collaborate effectively within cross-disciplinary teams to strategize and plan experiments that advance drug development efforts.
  • Independently carry out laboratory experiments, adhering to established protocols and maintaining the highest standards of scientific integrity.
  • Develop novel methodologies for assessing lead candidate molecules.
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
  • Conduct independent analysis of experimental data and present findings in tables or graphs.
  • Interpret results and derive significant conclusions to guide decision-making on pre-IND pipeline initiatives.
Project Collaboration:
  • Engage with colleagues across various scientific fields, including chemistry, pharmacology, and translational medicine to meet project objectives.
  • Contribute to project team meetings, offering expertise and insights to facilitate project advancement.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive and precise electronic laboratory notebooks that document experimental procedures, results, and conclusions.
  • Prepare and present research findings to internal teams and contribute to project updates.
Continuous Learning and Development:
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in methodologies for evaluating targeted therapeutics.
  • Actively seek opportunities for professional growth and contribute to the scientific development of the research team.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in biology, cell biology, cancer biology, immunology, or a related discipline.

Professional Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience (or 6+ years with a Master's degree) in research organizations, CROs, biotech, or pharmaceutical sectors with a focus on drug development.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Proficiency in cell culture and cell-based techniques, including flow cytometry, stable cell line generation, internalization assays, and cytotoxicity assays.
  • Experience with ELISA and gene expression analyses using RT-qPCR is advantageous. Familiarity with automation (liquid handler) is a plus.
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate complex scientific data effectively.
  • Capacity to collaborate successfully in a team-oriented environment.
