About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Service to the Armed Forces (SAF) and International Services (IS) Regional Program Manager to join our team in the Connecticut-Rhode Island Region. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in managing and administering the delivery of American Red Cross services to meet the needs of United States military members, veterans, and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to support the delivery of SAF and IS programs and services, ensuring alignment with Red Cross policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, military leaders, government agencies, and other charitable organizations to promote the Red Cross mission and services.
- Manage a team of volunteers to ensure the efficient delivery of programs and services, including recruitment, training, and supervision.
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure seamless delivery of programs and services, including follow-up and referrals.
- Track and report on organizational metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and accountability.
- Manage expenditures to ensure programs operate within budget, monitoring and reporting on outcomes and results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong computer skills, public speaking skills, and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work well in an individual or team environment.
- Familiarity with military culture, regulations, and protocol is strongly desired.
- Ability to work on a team and balance multiple priorities.
