Job Summary:

The Advanced Manufacturing Technology Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of students enrolled in the Advanced Manufacturing Technology program at Connecticut State Community College. This position is responsible for executing the recruitment system to attract and register students, as well as providing support services to help them achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified students to the program.
  • Provide guidance and support to students to help them navigate the program and overcome challenges.
  • Collaborate with instructors and other college departments to ensure a seamless student experience.
  • Manage and maintain student records, including tracking student progress and providing regular updates to students and faculty.
  • Develop and implement retention strategies to ensure students remain in the program and achieve their academic goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as education, counseling, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in student recruitment and retention, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to student success.
  • Knowledge of community college policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with students in academic goal setting and career planning.
  • Experience in academic advising or case management.
Salary:

$39.44 hourly.
