Advanced Manufacturing Technology Coordinator

The Advanced Manufacturing Technology Coordinator is a key role in supporting the success of students in the Advanced Manufacturing Technology program at Connecticut State Community College. This position is responsible for executing the recruitment system to find, evaluate, and register students into the program, as well as providing support services to help students achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit and retain students in the Advanced Manufacturing Technology program
- Provide academic support and guidance to students
- Develop and maintain recruitment and promotional materials for the program
- Assist students with commencement preparation and provide support for student placement
- Maintain and foster relationships with internal and external groups to support recruitment and enrollment
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of experience in student recruitment and retention
- Demonstrated knowledge and abilities in supporting first-generation, low-income, non-traditional, and minoritized students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve problems
- Experience in academic advising or case management
- Knowledge of community college environment and student population
