Parking Compliance Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Parking Compliance Coordinator plays a vital role in providing essential administrative support to the parking enforcement and operations teams. This position is crucial for ensuring the efficient execution of parking enforcement initiatives through effective coordination, meticulous record-keeping, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support:
    Assist in the creation and dissemination of parking violation notices.
    Maintain comprehensive records of parking enforcement activities, including citations issued and appeals processed.
    Oversee the parking enforcement database, ensuring all data is current and accurate.
    Prepare reports and summaries related to parking enforcement operations.
  • Compliance and Regulation:
    Ensure adherence to all relevant local, state, and federal parking regulations.
    Stay updated on changes in parking laws and revise necessary documentation and inform team members accordingly.

Qualifications:
  • Education:
    A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience:
    A minimum of 2 years in an administrative or customer service role is required.
    Experience in a parking enforcement or public safety context is preferred.
  • Skills:
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
    A customer-focused approach with effective problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions:
This role is primarily office-based, with occasional requirements to visit various locations. There may be instances where evening or weekend work is necessary based on departmental needs.

Physical Requirements:
Candidates should be able to sit for extended periods and lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
