Position Overview:

The Parking Operations Supervisor collaborates with the Assistant General Manager to oversee the financial and operational aspects of the designated portfolio, ensuring professional parking management around the clock. This role is integral to fostering an employee-centric servant leadership culture, supporting initiatives from our headquarters while addressing the unique needs of operational teams within the assigned portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure business retention.
  • Maximize revenue, manage expenses, and enhance customer satisfaction by upholding high service standards aligned with client expectations.
  • Assist in business development efforts, including proposals, presentations, and transitions for new locations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team to achieve annual and periodic goals, embodying LAZ Parking's cultural values.
  • Identify and nurture high-potential employees to support organizational growth.
  • Plan and execute strategies for the opening of new locations within the assigned portfolio.
  • Prepare budgets and conduct monthly profit/loss reviews for each location.
  • Provide guidance and training to Facilities Managers and Assistant Managers on parking management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations between LAZ Parking and our clients.
  • Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial and operational reports as required.
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, training, and management of Facilities Managers and Assistant Managers, ensuring adherence to Collective Bargaining Agreements where applicable.
  • Act as a liaison for parking patrons and various stakeholder groups affected by operations.
  • Implement and manage additional projects, programs, and initiatives arising from portfolio operations.
  • Participate in labor contract management as necessary.
  • Review and refine proposed agreements related to parking and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency management regarding operational matters.
  • Manage event operations within LAZ Parking.
  • Analyze and monitor market rate structures.
  • Complete additional projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a management role.
  • Understanding of profit and loss statements is essential.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships effectively.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proactive in seeking improvements and fostering an environment of idea sharing and creative problem-solving.
  • Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to facilitate coaching conversations with employees and managers.
  • Resilience and a determination to overcome challenges.
  • Encouragement of open expression of ideas and opinions.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years in a management position.
  • Experience in managing multiple parking locations is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements:

  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
  • Capability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and lifting throughout shifts.
