The Safety Coordinator is responsible for reducing risk and creating a safer environment for Nashville International Airport personnel, the general public including persons with disabilities, conducting regulatory inspections, such as:

  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration Coordinator

  • Regulatory Inspection and Assessment
  • Manufacturing and Quality Control
  • Airline and Aviation Safety
  • Program Development and Implementation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
  • Investigate and report on safety incidents and near-misses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks
  • Provide training and education on safety protocols and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. safety, risk management, business)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a safety or compliance role
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
