Electrical Field Test Specialist

At Saxon Global, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Field Test Specialist to support our MBTA RLOL Signals Upgrade project. As a key member of our team, you will perform electrical field test activities focused on Wayside Signaling under the direction of our T&C Manager.

  • Execute test activities under the direction of Alstom Test engineers and manager.
  • Fill out test documentation, such as: test data sheets, discrepancy lists, daily reports, progress reports (KPIs)

Requirements:

  • Work experience on Electrical tools like Track Sniffer, Scope meter, Shunting, multimeter

  • Knowledgeable on Computer and Network systems: Windows, WireShark, SSH, telnet

  • Experience in working on field environments, train control rooms or bungalows, wayside tracks

  • Experience in executing tests on switch machines, track circuits (PF and AF), signals, microprocessors (VPI, Microlok and/or Electrologix)

Knowledgeable on Signaling systems:
Signaling principles, Troubleshooting, Software installation, Log retrieval
