About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Pyramid Global Hospitality. As a Front Desk Agent, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our front office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome, using a positive and clear speaking voice.
  • Manage Guest Accounts: Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system, confirming pertinent details such as room rate and number of guests.
  • Process Transactions: Promote hotel's marketing programs and make appropriate selection of rooms based on guest needs, handle cash, make change, and balance an assigned house bank.
  • Resolve Complications: Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization using electronic acceptance methods, convert foreign currency at current posted rates, and post charges to guest rooms and house accounts using the computer.
  • Communicate Effectively: Promptly answer the telephone using positive and clear English communication, input messages into the computer and retrieve messages to communicate to guests.
  • Ensure Guest Satisfaction: Close guest accounts at time of check out and ascertain satisfaction, resolve complications such as location changes or credit issues, and field guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop effective solutions and negotiate results.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma: High school diploma preferred.
  • No Prior Experience Required: No prior experience required, but prior hospitality experience preferred.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform accurate calculations.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and move throughout front office and continuously perform essential job functions.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
