About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our Less-than-Truckload (LTL) sales team. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and coaching sales employees, and building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet production targets
  • Coach and develop sales employees to achieve sales goals and improve performance
  • Interview, hire, and onboard new sales employees
  • Assist sales employees with LTL strategies and provide support as needed
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor sales reports and communicate trends and market conditions to senior leadership
  • Assist in resolving escalated issues and provide support to sales employees
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of sales management experience, preferably leading a team of 10+
  • 3+ years of experience succeeding in LTL Sales
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, lead, and motivate others
  • Ability to be on call if needed to support team and customers 24/7/365
