POSITION OVERVIEW:


The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the Store Manager to foster a customer-centric and product-oriented sales atmosphere. This position emphasizes our core values and guiding principles in all aspects of store management, including overseeing sales operations, safeguarding assets, and managing human resources functions to ensure an exceptional customer experience and optimal profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performance Management
  • Evaluates sales data and key performance indicators to identify business needs; collaborates with the Store Manager to implement effective sales strategies.
  • Sets clear expectations and holds the team accountable for meeting brand standards and performance metrics.
  • Manages payroll and inventory budgets efficiently.
  • Oversees essential operational tasks such as scheduling, inventory audits, and daily operational duties.
  • Ensures all financial transactions are conducted accurately and in compliance with company policies.
  • Maintains adherence to legal regulations and loss prevention policies; provides training to associates on proper procedures.
  • Administers inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is received and displayed effectively.
  • Upholds visual merchandising standards that reflect the brand's identity.
  • Fosters a high-performance culture, encouraging the sales team to achieve set sales and productivity targets.
  • Trains and mentors the team to enhance product knowledge and customer engagement.
Team Development
  • Inspires and motivates the store team, cultivating a shared vision aligned with our core values.
  • Encourages a collaborative approach to problem-solving within the team.
  • Communicates effectively with team members and the Store Manager to facilitate positive changes.
  • Actively seeks opportunities for personal growth and welcomes constructive feedback to enhance leadership capabilities.
Customer Engagement
  • Demonstrates and promotes the principles of exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Utilizes various sales techniques to engage customers, providing tailored product recommendations.
  • Addresses customer inquiries and resolves issues promptly.
  • Ensures a smooth and efficient checkout process, staying informed on payment policies and procedures.
  • Encourages team members to maintain consistent communication with clients through loyalty programs and customer engagement initiatives.
Talent Management
  • Assists in the recruitment and development of a high-performing team.
  • Supports and implements training programs to enhance team skills.
  • Evaluates and coaches team members on their performance.
  • Collaborates with the Store Manager to address human resources matters effectively.
  • Promotes team engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding contributions.
  • Ensures compliance with all employment policies and practices.
Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in retail management preferred
Must be at least 18 years old
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to adapt to technology used in the workplace
Proven track record of exceptional customer service and leadership skills
Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated leadership qualities and team-building skills
Familiarity with the administrative aspects of retail operations
Able to effectively communicate with customers and staff
Regular attendance is crucial for this role to ensure adequate staffing and meet company goals. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Constant walking/standing throughout the shift
Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Frequent climbing during the shift
