About the Role

The Urology Patient Access Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience by efficiently managing patient check-in and check-out processes. This role will provide exceptional customer service, supporting the Urology of Indiana team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exceed daily expectations and goals, maintaining open communication with the team regarding status and deadlines.
  • Display leadership initiative by offering to help others or taking on additional responsibilities when able.
  • Verify insurance for upcoming procedures and coordinate with clinical units and billing as needed.
  • Process and maintain third-party referral information, ensuring accurate and timely communication.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, colleagues, and management.
  • One year of experience in a medical practice or health insurance organization.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various formats.
